"Where are they Now?" Series (2)

Ken Crawford:
A graduate in 2002 from St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, many thought that Crawford reach the “end of the line” after he came in second place to Corey Graham (Defensive Back of the Chicago Bears) of Turner Carroll in the 400m. But Crawford would not let this be the end of his reign. With his chubby phase behind him, Crawford made his way to middle of nowhere Clarkson University and fought in the Liberty League to regain his glory.

Now, ten years later, Mr. Ken Crawford can be found running the streets of Buffalo in the same pair of sweatpants that he has had since Bill Clinton was in office. With his chemical engineering degree, Ken can also be found in the various apartments lining Elmwood Ave participating in different raves and dance parties before trekking across the street to the always-popular Mr. Goodbar.

Along with living the wild life that only Ken can handle, Ken can also be found at the St. Joe’s practices, meets, and summer runs. Ken has no problem leading the current athletes through a vigorous workout and pushing them beyond the limits in hopes to birth an all-catholic champion.

Even though Crawford has a rugged exterior and a “don’t-take-no-for-an-answer” attitude, he can be a great friend that will be by your side when no one else dares. He is a great guy, and like no other. Kenneth Crawford is one of a kind, as are most who come through St. Joe’s.
